Research Interest

My research interest is on the economic insurance value of biodiversity against the uncertain provision of ecosystem services for risk-averse ecosystem service users. During my PhD I am working on this topic with main emphasis on two case studies: one on pollination services provided by managed and wild pollinating insect species and another one on plant species diversity providing biomass.

In general: Insurance value of biodiversity, valuing ecosystem services, pollination services and pollinator diversity, plant diversity and biomass production
